phillyCHANGE currently operates two programs, Community Enhancement Program and our New Mentoring Program.
Mentoring Program
The phillyCHANGE Mentoring Program follows a monthly curriculum that focuses on assisting students in two areas:
Social Skills / Relationships with Others
Life Skills
phillyCHANGE believes that these are two very important areas/skills that can help individuals become successful in society today.
Community Enhancement Initiative
Members of phillyCHANGE conduct community service projects all throughout the city of Philadelphia promoting leadership and service.
Examples of past programs:
Coat drive for disadvantaged children;
Jean Drive for disadvantage youth;
Hygiene Drive
Resource Fair/ Harvest Night with United Missionary Baptist Church;
Back to Basics School Supply Give away in partnership with Cheltenham Mall; (annually)
Philadelphia Aids Walk
Mall-O-Ween in partnership with Cheltenham Mall (annually)
